Print design is still a popular and effective factor in advertising, although many businesses today are right to focus on developing web design and social media. A flyer, a brochure or a leaflet can support a campaign, join a successful branding, and enrich the image of a business, as part of its corporate identity, etc.
In many cases, print design is a process that must be included in a company's promotion and advertising strategy (tourist, commercial, etc.), or a service, a product (food, cosmetics) etc.
Professional print design, besides its advertising function, is essential when its main purpose has to do with usability and information such as: creating a menu for a restaurant, designing an informational folder for a hotel, announcing a social event, in publication design, in business worksheets, etc.
The most significant factors that will determine communicational success of print design are: information quality, layout, and format. Layout is the insertion of typography and images and the design relationships between them. Format is the physical presence of the object in the place (size, material, folds, etc.). A creative layout combined with an unusual format adds value to a project. They highlight the content, help in the absorption of information, and, ultimately, determine the recipient's response.
